I'm fascinated by the direct-to-consumer trend and the foundational shifts happening in retail. My current side-project LookLook is a marketplace app that allows users to engage in a live shopping experience where they can interact with the show host, buy curated goods, and get exclusive 24hr pricing. I envision LookLook as a distributed QVC or live shopping show platform that promotes emerging brands, DTC players, and Shopify's e-commerce network.
Harmon and Yost offer a unique collection of hand-crafted fan apparel for University of Michigan fans. I launched Harmon and Yost to market by creating a line of twenty-five apparel designs and developing a brand story and digital experience that included a digital storefront and supporting social properties. Following the launch, I led the digital marketing efforts. I created HailMail, a weekly email newsletter that gained 2600 subscribers in less than two months and built effective Facebook ad campaigns that supported sales at 18 cents per click.
Detroit Dog Co. is a multi-unit restaurant concept with outrageously delicious food and a Detroitlicious personality. I created and led the go-to-market brand, digital, and customer experience. I developed a multi-faceted brick and mortar and digital approach that included print, packaging, vehicle, website, and social property development. Following the launch, I led the digital marketing efforts - including customer acquisition, PPC, local SEO, and email marketing.
